Arrive in the city and meet your Zoni Tour Manager at your hotel and store your luggage.

Visit the iconic Liberty Bell, an enduring symbol of American independence.

Next, explore the National Liberty Museum. Expand your understanding of what liberty means and learn about the great strides the country has made in the name of freedom.

Afternoon:
Start the afternoon with lunch at a local eatery.

Enjoy a city walking tour, where you will visit historic sites such as the Betsy Ross House and Ben Franklin's gravesite.

Evening:
Enjoy a group dinner at a downtown restaurant.

Take an evening ghost tour as you uncover Philadelphia's haunted history.

Check into your hotel and unwind.

Day 2: Historical Sites and Civic Exploration

Morning:
Have breakfast at the hotel.

Tour Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution were debated and adopted.

Head to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, where you can re-enact the famous scene from the movie Rocky where he ran up the steps of the museum. Once you make it to the bottom of the steps, check out Rocky Balboa’s statue and enjoy the rest of the museum.

Afternoon:
Enjoy lunch at the Bourse Food Hall, offering a variety of culinary options.

Bring the US Constitution to life with a visit to the National Constitution Center. Walk through Signer’s Hall and meet the founding fathers then watch Freedom Rising, a multimedia theater performance.

Evening:
Wrap up the evening with a group dinner at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel.

Day 3: Science and Currency

Morning:
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.

Visit the Franklin Institute, a renowned science museum named after inventor and Founding Father, Benjamin Franklin. Learn about the night sky at Fel’s Planetarium or visit Your Brain to learn about neural pathways and brain function. Be sure not to miss the 20-foot-high marble statue of Benjamin Franklin in the rotunda.

Afternoon:
Have lunch at a local eatery.

Set out on a guided tour of the United States Mint to learn about US currency. See the first coining press, used to strike our nation’s first coins in 1792, and other historic artifacts. Meet Peter the Mint Eagle, a real Bald Eagle who made the First United States Mint his home.

No, Zoni educational tours are not limited to school students alone. They can be arranged for college students, adult learners, faith-based organizations, community-based organizations, language organizations, home-school co-ops, cultural schools/organizations, businesses, or individuals with an interest in acquiring knowledge and exploring new environments.

Absolutely. We cater to various group sizes, including homeschoolers, with fully customizable itineraries.

We require a minimum of ten paying passengers per group. We have no maximum group size.

Planning should begin as soon as possible. International travel is typically planned 12-18 months before departure.

Zoni Educational travel tours have trained Tour Managers and Tour Leaders accompanying the group. For domestic travel there will be one Tour Leader for every 10 students and for international travel, there will be one Tour Leader for every 6 students.

The Tour Leader is a representative from your school. The Tour Manager is affiliated with Zoni Tours and is well versed in the destinations visited.

Yes, for domestic travel we offer one free tour leader per ten paying passengers. For international travel, we offer one free tour leader per six paying passengers.

The itineraries listed on our website include examples of destinations that we travel to, but we are happy to customize a tour of any destination you wish to visit.

While many of our domestic tours are two-night/three-day itineraries, we can customize a tour for any desired length of time.

Your transportation needs will be provided by Zoni Tours, unless otherwise noted in your proposal.

It's advisable to pack extra snacks and meal money for unique dietary needs. Please provide specific dietary requirements for better accommodation.

A medical release form will be filled out and given to the tour manager. Ensure your child has travel insurance that covers medical emergencies. Zoni Tours has a 24/7 emergency line for support in the event a medical issue arises on tour, and communication will be prompt and efficient to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.

Zoni Tours offers a unique way for parents to stay connected with their students' daily activities via Travel Journals. Tour Managers publish photos and journal entries at the end of each tour day, allowing families to keep track of their travelers' experiences from anywhere in the world.

  • Motorcoach or Charter Bus: One carry-on bag and one personal item (backpack) per traveler.

-Air travel: Please consult your air carrier’s baggage restrictions and fees.

We recommend packing only as much as the student can move without assistance.

In the event of a lost or stolen passport, your group's Tour Manager, along with Zoni Tour Directors & Coordinators, will guide you through the proper procedures for obtaining a new one. Prior to departure, Tour Leaders are required to submit clear and legible copies of all participants' passports and visas to Zoni Tours. Zoni Tours will maintain a secure and centralized database of the submitted copies for reference and emergency purposes. Zoni Tours is not liable for lost or stolen passports. For coverage in such an event, consider purchasing one of our travel protection plans.
